Courthouse Security
- The Norfolk Law Library is located in the City of Norfolk Courthouse and all patrons are required to pass through the building’s security screening checkpoint to access the library space.

General Policies
- Norfolk Law Library is free and open to both the public and legal professionals.
- We are a non-circulating library. However, a photocopier and printer are available for use.
- Food and beverages are not permitted in the library.
- Library staff are happy to assist you in navigating the library collection and the general usage of library materials, but staff cannot provide legal advice.
- Computer use is limited to legal research and each session is limited to a maximum of 1-hour.
Conduct
- The Library reserves the right to deny access to patrons whose conduct or handling of materials violates its rules or interferes with the normal operation of the facility. This includes inappropriate computer use and disruptive behavior.
